Jim Zirkel, CEO
Has been a nationally recognized, residential designer for over 35 years. Educated at Ohio State University, he began his career in Mansfield, Ohio in 1966. In 1978, he moved his staff to Orlando, Florida, and now Home Design Services has over 10,000 plans built across the United States and in 56 other countries world wide. Zirkel's exclusive designs have won over 250 Parade of Homes awards including seven Grand Awards and coveted Aurora Awards. He has gained national recognition in the American Institute of Building Designers National Award Competition with over 22 awards. Zirkel is also a member of the Home Builders Association, serving as Associate Vice-President in 1990, and Associate of the Year in 1992. He is a certified member of the American Institute of Building Designers (AIBD) and a Certified Professional Building Designer (CPBD).



Russ Kingman, Vice President
Has established himself as one of the paramount designers in the home design industry. We are very proud to have him as our Vice President and of his 18 years of dedicated service. Russ is responsible for the plan magazine and publishing division of Home Design Services. He enjoys photography and travel and shoots many of the exterior and interior photos of our homes around the country.
